I’ve been restored, redeemed, refreshed
Old bitterness and hurt have been healed
The things that I clung to
that made my heart squeeze in sour emotion
Have been removed
and I am Free
I laugh, smile, and giggle from my core
No more do I hold on to anger and sadness
Joy and delight have become my new covers and I wear them proudly
Christ has delivered me from myself (once more)
I looked within and saw someone wound in regrets and hurt and I cried out and he answered me
